After work, I starting rummaging through the cabinets and drawers of the house in search for today’s bird inspiration. What I finally found, was some tissue paper left from a gift bag. I just liked the fragile quality of the transparent tissue. I started off experimenting with some watercolor paints. But what I liked was unexpected. I liked the wet paper edges that started to look like a wet sheet. And that lead me to I take a wet sponge and push this interesting effect across the tissue paper. What started off in one direction, lead me to a surprise ending for today’s Bird-A-Day art. Enjoy.
